Friday October 17th
5pm Happy hour at Top of the Hill in Chapel Hill

Hopefully the weather will be just perfect to sit out on the balcony. Come from work and plan to make a night of it in chapel hill with all the restaurants and bars available. Historically our happy hours have lasted until at least 8pm, so don't fret if you can't get there by the strike of 5pm!

Call for volunteers:

Have you made it this far down the email? Clearly you are interested in Tulane alumni events in the Triangle region of NC. We would all like to have more events all around the triangle, but your alumni leadership needs your help!

Do you have a favorite bar to visit for happy hours? Did you hear of a New Orleans music event you want to attend locally? Do you have another idea for an event the alumni club should do?

Volunteer to "host" an event! The time commitment is limited to emailing me the date/location of the event and showing up at the event - it couldn't be easier for you! This is a great way to get involved on a limited basis, the commitment/responsibility ends at the conclusion of your event. I know everyone is very busy and hesitant to volunteer for open-ended positions, but please consider this opportunity. As an additional plus, you get an event that is precisely what and where you want - who wouldn't love that kind of power?
