LSU-Tulane Crawfish Boil

Sunday, May 24, 2008* • 11-4 p.m. • $50 Qualcomm Stadium's Practice Field**

Tickets on sale NOW for limited time only.
Event is always a sell-out.  Act fast.

$50 Adults, $5 Kids
Includes 5lbs/person hot boiled crawfish, corn and potatoes.
Hot dogs and soda for kids.
Beer (21 and over) served until 2pm.
Live Cajun/Zydeco music
Parking included.
Guests are welcome!

Reservations for the Crawfish Boil are required by Monday March 30, 2009.
Adult Ticket   $50.00  Tulane Table (Table of 10)  $450.00
Children (ages 13 and under) $ 5.00 includes hot dogs & sodas only.

**Directions:  Friars Road to Stadium Road (the western most entrance to Qualcomm stadium) park in J5. The event will be held on the large grassy area (Old Charger Practice Field) in the southwest corner adjacent to free parking area J5.

Wave of Green

On Saturday, March 28th, Tulane Alumni Clubs around the country are planting trees as a simultaneous nationwide community service project.

Tulane & Newcomb Alumni, family & friends are urged to join the University's green efforts and to participate in this service event.

The San Diego Alumni Club has arranged with Habit for Humanity to plant a 15gal fruit tree at a newly built home in Oceanside on Saturday March 28, Time TBD.  Now all we need is money and labor. Here's how you can help in San Diego.

1. Donate $$ towards the purchase of a 15 gal citrus or fruit tree (about $100).  Use link below to donate via credit card or send check to Marry Lynn Hyde made payable to Tulane Alumni Association.
2. Volunteer to contact a North County nursery and obtain a citrus or other fruit tree tree, ideally at a discount.
3. Volunteer to pick-up the tree from the designated nursery and deliver to Oceanside.
4. Volunteer to dig the hole.
5. Spearhead the project by coordinating the volunteers and the job.
