Party on Saturday was great. the Arts Club is the type of place we should have it every year. It was classy and metro accessible. I thought the price was reasonable and offering the group discount is a great way to go. Since we always hold the event as a fundraiser we may want to move to a larger venue so we can RAISE more money. I like the idea of being able to market our party as SOLD OUT, but more money towards the recovery efforts is always golden. - Wendy Weiss

The Mardi Gras party was so much fun!!! Every one that I talked to was really enjoying themselves. I know constructive criticism helps, but I can't think of any at this point. I think it was great there were 2 bars... otherwise one would have been totally packed. The food was delicious, and I heard a lot of people talking about how much they liked the building. - Jean Brinker

This was your premier event to date.  Now you have the problem of future events being compared against it. The idea of a local band that can cover enough of the NO Blues is perfect.  The venue was perfect save for parking.  Fortunately that night many people were out and parking was available.  On Spring nights that is not always the case.  The food - simple - two choices.  They were good choices and kept the catering manageable. The hurricanes - close enough for government work.  Adding the appropriate amount of rum would probably have been disabling.  Well done.  Again - a great event at a great venue.  Carry on. - Fred Gillis

FABULOUS Mardi Gras party - bravo!  We had such a great time, and I thought the event was fantastic in every respect.  The location was beautiful...the old mansion kind of reminded me of NOLA and the huge room with dance floor and stage for the band was key.  The food was delicious (yummy etouffee).  The band was awesome!  We danced like crazy and I thought they had a perfect sound - a sort of hybrid of New Orleans styles that was a lot of fun.  And of course the crowd was a wonderful mix of people who knew how to celebrate Mardi Gras the right way (as only Tulane alums do)!  All in all, I can't say enough good things about the event.  Thank you and can't wait for next year! - Amanda Medori
